The purpose of the “Environmental Music & Soundscape” Business is to communicate the attractiveness of Japan’s unique natural environment to people in Japan and abroad through music.
We will provide music contents for appreciation of the coexistence of people and nature (cultural landscape) as “Beauty”.

Diamond Dust
New unit formed by Saya Kawashima (Soprano) and Yukiko Fuku (Pianist, arranger)
During the course of their respective activities, they performed in “Criative Opera Mix” organized by Sapporo Bunka Geijutsu Theatre “hitaru” for 3 years from 2020 and hit it off well. After that, they performed a series of concerts mainly of classical music, and in 2022, they started to create their own works in earnest. The unit’s name, “Diamond Dust,” refers to the beautiful natural phenomenon unique to Hokkaido where snow crystals fly in the air. The image of snow sparkling in the backlight on a cold sub-zero morning is created by Saya Kawashima’s clear and elongated voice and Yukiko Fuku’s original and outstanding compositional expression. Mysterious world of sound is created by singing with vowels and piano. This is the ultimate healing music that reminds us of the beautiful scenery of Hokkaido.
